Not very long ago we were competing with already proven stalwart of the trade. Today we are the leaders of the trade for last 15 years in the district of Purulia, West Bengal. Our fully owned hotels are clubbed under the Brand “Hotel Akash”. These Brand names are used extensively by us in all our advertising campaigns, pro­motional activities, direct mails, press and public relations, sponsorship programs. A major effort is directed towards establishing the brand name as a hallmark of the quality hospitality services provider.

Ministry of Tourism and Us

Our hotel is recognized with the Directorate of Tourism, Govt. of West Bengal. Hotel Akash is the first hotel in the state to be registered with Ministry of Tourism in the year 1998. (Reg. No.1/TU dt. 29/06/1998) We are growing with the valuable financial support of West Bengal Financial Corporation and being awarded by different departments of the state.

His selflessness and enduring dedication to the society at large has laid the foundation of our day to day approach towards work/life. Mr. Madhu Sudan Lata possesses years of expertise, in the Hospitality Industry is the Managing Director of the Company particularly in taking over and successfully turning around the fortunes of hotels. Smt. Prem Lata, is one of the director of the company who has been one of our pillars of success through her administrative and service oriented touch of hospitality for more than a decade. She has been associated with the over all management and operations at the hotel facility. Mr. Mohit Lata, a graduate of Hospitality and Tourism Management, has over a decade of experience in the hospitality sector. He is a professional hotelier with over 8 years experience in the Hotel Industry. He co-ordinates and oversees the hotel operations of the group on a day-to-day basis. He is also associated with the promotion and operations of the District. Hotel and Restaurant Association. Mr. Rohit Lata, a MBA from UWIC London (U.K), is a Director of the Company. Mr. Rohit Lata oversees the implementation of the ongoing projects and has a keen eye upon applying Internation­al standards of food and stay at the Akash hotel sites.
